During this ongoing pandemic of COVID‑19, Pantai Hospital has made an effort in controlling the virus. COVID-19 Drive-Thru Screening Services is provided in 8 selected Pantai Hospital to better serve the community. However the equipment and facilities for the Drive-Thru test is inadequate. In addition, through this pandemic COVID-19, it has shown that the concern about infectious diseases is low.

A Research & Development Lab that providing proper Drive-Thru Test department as medical support institute for Pantai Hospital. R&D Lab is with purpose of data research and study while data is collecting through Drive-Thru Test. Infectious disease test and blood test services are provided.

From the mission of Pantai Hospital- Providing excellent patient care, providing people a safety, trustable, credibility and caring space to be cured including services, facilities and environment. This R&D Lab is a protection of health as it is in a purpose of providing a better health space.
